Kale Nutrition – Super Food Status?

~ Kale Nutritional Benefits ~Kale Nutritional Facts

Why Kale is One of The Most Nutrient Dense Foods on Our Planet!

This leafy green Brassica vegetable has taken the western world by storm recently. It’s HOT and deemed to be a super food for very good reason! The health and nutritional facts speak volumes.

It is high in dietary fibre, contains high amounts of vitamins A, K, and C, Magnesium, Potassium, Omega 3 for cardiovascular support, sulforaphane which is a cancer-fighting compound and has plenty of phytonutrients, such as quercetin that helps prevent Plaque build up on our veins or arteries (this can cause high blood pressure). As we age, I think especially women want to learn more about how we can better our health generally. Who needs trips to the doctor if we can manage our own health!

Try growing Kale yourself!  Its really tough, withstands the heat and frost!
Buying organic Kale is best, due to the commercially bought varieties using lots of pesticides. Always wash Kale thoroughly before using it.

So if Kale is an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and helps fight cancer, is there any down side?
